Reverse The upper part of the coin features the crown of the Russian Empire. Below the crown are a six-pointed star and the denomination — «ДЕНЬГА» (Denga). Below this runs a line, under which the abbreviation «К.М.» (Kolpinsky Mint) is struck. On the left side near the edge is a laurel branch, and on the right — an oak branch. The branches are tied together at the base with a ribbon. Raised dots are struck along the coin's edge.
Obverse The center of the obverse is occupied by the small coat of arms of the Russian Empire — a double-headed eagle with wings spread. The eagle's heads bear crowns, and a third, larger crown is above and between them. On the eagle's breast is the coat of arms of Moscow — a shield depicting St. George the Victorious on horseback, slaying a serpent with a long spear (the serpent's head is to the right). Surrounding the shield is the chain of the Order of St. Andrew the First-Called. In its right talon the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left — an orb. Under the right talon is the letter «А», under the left — «М». These are the initials of mintmaster Alexei Maleev. Below the initials is the year of minting «1813.». The rim is decorated with dots.
