Below the inscription is a decorative divider consisting of two ornamental lines with a small dot between them. Below the divider is the coin's year of issue, 1843. Further below is the abbreviation E.M. (Ekaterinburg Mint). The rim is beaded.
Obverse The center is occupied by the monogram of Emperor Nicholas I, crowned with an imperial crown. The rim is decorated with large beads.
