In the upper part along the rim arc is the coin's denomination '25 RUBLES' and the year of mintage '1994', below the words 'BANK OF RUSSIA'. In the center, within a dotted circle, is a double-headed eagle; below it, on the inside of the dotted circle, on the left the chemical symbol 'Pd' and fineness 999, then to the right the manufacturer's (mint) mark 'LMD' and the chemically pure weight of the precious metal in grams 31.10.
