    In the central part—a Russian double-headed eagle crowned with the Imperial Crown, holding two oval heraldic shields. On the left—the Coat of Arms of the Russian Empire, on the right—the coat of arms of the Duchy of Schleswig-Holstein. Both shields rest on the chain of the Order of St. Andrew the First-Called. Below the eagle's tail—the letter 'P', the initial of the representative of Grand Duke Johann Ludwig Ploss. Around the eagle, a circular inscription: HAER: NORW•DUX SLESV HOLS: ST.& DELM COM: OLD & DELM•1753 'Heir of Norway, Duke of Schleswig-Holstein, Stormarn, Dithmarschen, Count of Oldenburg and Delmenhorst'.
  • Obverse
    The center of the obverse is occupied by the right-facing profile of the heir to the Russian throne, Karl Peter Ulrich (Emperor Peter III). Below the portrait—the letter 'S', the mark of the German medallist Schäffer. Around the portrait, the inscription: PETRUS•D:G•MAGNUS DUX TOTIUS RUSSIAE. 'Peter, by the Grace of God, Grand Duke and Heir of All Russia'.
