Below is a decorative divider in the form of two curved lines with a small circle between them. Under the lines is the year of coinage '1874' and below it the mint mark 'E.M.'.
Obverse The upper part of the obverse features the imperial crown with flowing ribbon ends beneath it. The center of the obverse is occupied by the monogram of Alexander II. Beneath the monogram is a crossing of a laurel branch (running along the left edge) and an oak branch (along the right edge).
