Reverse Crosswise arrangement of text: denomination — 'PYAT' KOPEEK' and year of mintage — '1723 GODA'. The inscriptions are bordered by double lines.
Obverse The center of the obverse features a simplified version of the Russian Empire coat of arms — the traditional double-headed eagle, but executed without complex elements. Both eagle heads bear crowns, and a third, larger crown is positioned above between the heads. In its right talon, the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left, an orb. The eagle is encircled by a border of dots connected by a line. Beyond this border, closer to the edge, five convex dots are placed at equal distances from each other (indicating the coin's denomination).
