Reverse
The central part features the denomination—the numeral 2. Above the numeral is the imperial crown. Below the denomination numeral is a two-line inscription: KOPEYKI. Below that runs a horizontal straight line and the abbreviation S.P.B. (Saint Petersburg Mint). On the left side of the reverse near the edge is a laurel branch, and on the right—an oak branch. The bases of the branches are tied together with a ribbon. Raised dots are stamped along the edge of the coin.
Obverse
The center of the obverse is occupied by the lesser coat of arms of the Russian Empire—a double-headed eagle with wings spread. The eagle's heads bear crowns, and a third, larger crown is above and between the heads. On the eagle's breast is the coat of arms of Moscow—a shield depicting St. George the Victorious on horseback, slaying a serpent with a long spear (the serpent's head is to the right). Around the shield is the chain of the Order of St. Andrew the First-Called. In its right talon the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left—an orb. Under the right talon is the letter 'P', under the left—the letter 'S'. The initials of mintmaster Pavel Stupitsyn. Below the initials is the year of minting '1813.'. The rim is decorated with dots.
