The central part features the large numeral denomination '25'. Below the numeral is the word 'RUBLEI' (RUBLES). Below the word are the letters 'MMD', the mint mark of the Moscow Mint. The central part is enclosed within a ring consisting of a linear border and two intertwined floral patterns. Outside the ring, on the outer field, the text runs along the rim: at the top – 'ROSSIYSKAYA FEDERATSIYA' (RUSSIAN FEDERATION), at the bottom the year of mintage – '1993'.
