    In the center, within a raised circle, is depicted the facade of the Vienna Secession building. Along the inner circle are inscriptions: on the right the numeral '50', at the top the currency name in Latin letters 'EURO CENT', on the right the mint year '2003', below it a stylized flag of Austria. Around the outer circle along the rim are twelve five-pointed stars.
