Along the edge of the coin, the following relief elements are depicted: at the top — the contours of an eight-pointed star; on the left, right, and bottom — national ornaments; to the left of the bottom ornament, the symbols 'ҚҰБ', to the right — the mintmark of the Kazakhstan Mint. In the central disk, against a reeded background, the large number 100, below it the inscription in Kazakh 'TENGE'.

Along the edge of the coin on the left, top, and right, the Cyrillic name of the Republic of Kazakhstan — 'KAZAKSTAN RESPUBLIKASY', at the bottom the year of minting '2003', separated on both sides by relief elements in the form of dots. In the central part, on the left, an image of the mythical wolf (Bori), on the right an element of national ornament and a vertical inscription in Kazakh 'TENGE 10 ZHIL', translated as '10 YEARS OF TENGE'.
