Reverse The central part features the denomination in two lines: POLUSHKA. Below, the year of mintage is indicated in Old Church Slavonic: 1712. The central image is surrounded by a linear circle. Around the circumference near the rim runs the text: VSELa RUSSII SAMODERZHETS. The coin's rim is made of dots.
Obverse The center of the obverse is occupied by the coat of arms of the Russian Empire—a double-headed eagle. Both heads of the eagle wear crowns, and a third, larger crown is placed between them. In its right talon, the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left, an orb. Around the eagle is the text: TSAR PETR ALEZIEVICH. The rim is decorated with dots.
