Obverse In the upper part of the coin is the State Emblem of the USSR, encircled by a ribbon (15 turns), below it the letters 'USSR'. Further down, left and right of a line, below the line on the left: the chemical designation 'Pd' and the fineness 999 of the coin's metal, below them the pure weight of the precious metal '31.1'. Below the line on the right: the manufacturer's (mint) mark 'LMD'. Slightly lower is the coin's denomination, the numeral '25' and below it the word 'RUBLES'. At the edge of the lower part is the year of mintage '1991'.
