In the upper part of the coin is the State Emblem of the USSR, encircled by a ribbon (15 turns). The abbreviation 'USSR' is split into two parts—'CC' is to the left of the emblem, and 'CP' to the right. Below is a double line, under it the denomination of the coin, the numeral '150' and below it the word 'RUBLES'.
