    In the central part of the reverse, a relief image of Japanese soldiers throwing the banners of the defeated Kwantung Army in Manchuria at the feet of Soviet soldiers. Around the circumference are inscriptions separated by two dots: at the top - 'DEFEAT OF THE KWANTUNG ARMY IN MANCHURIA', at the bottom - '9.08-19.08 1945'. On the edge of the coin - two incused inscriptions 'THREE RUBLES', separated by two asterisks.

    In the upper part along the rim arc, the denomination of the coin 'THREE RUBLES' and the year of minting '1995' are indicated, below are the words 'BANK OF RUSSIA'. In the center, within a dotted circle, an image of the Spasskaya Tower of the Moscow Kremlin and the dome of the Senate Palace partially overlapping it with a flying flag. Inside the dotted circle on the right is the mint mark 'MMD' (Moscow Mint).
