    In the central part, an inscription in four lines: ГОСУДАР=СТВЕННАЯРОССIЙСКАЯМОНЕТА (STATE RUSSIAN COIN). Above the inscription is the Imperial Crown. Below the inscription is the abbreviation С.П.Б. (Saint Petersburg Mint). In the left part of the coin, along the edge, is a laurel branch, and in the right part, an oak branch. At the base, the branches are tied with a ribbon, the knot of which forms a bow. The coin's edge is decorated with a toothed border.
  • Obverse
    In the central part, arranged in the form of a cross, are five shields with coats of arms. The central shield features the Coat of Arms of the Russian Empire — a double-headed eagle with scepter and orb. The top shield is the Moscow coat of arms, the bottom is the coat of arms of the Siberian Tsardom. The left shield is the coat of arms of the Astrakhan Tsardom, the right is the Kazan Tsardom. The top shield is crowned with the Imperial Crown, the other three shields are crowned with Tsarist crowns. Between the circular coats of arms are four rosettes. In the upper part, along the rim, is the circular inscription "ДЕСЯТЬ РУБЛЕИ" (TEN RUBLES), divided by the Imperial Crown. In the lower part is the year of minting "1802 ГОДА." (1802 YEAR.), divided by a Tsarist crown. The border is decorated with denticles.
