At the bottom near the edge is the year of minting '1991'. On the left is an ear of wheat, on the right an oak branch.

In the upper part of the coin is the text: GOSUDARSTVENNYI BANK (STATE BANK); below it is the issuing country • USSR •. In the center of the coin are the Spasskaya Tower of the Moscow Kremlin and the domes of the Senate Palace with a waving flag on top.
