Reverse The central part features the denomination in two lines: KOPEIKA. Below it, the year of mintage is indicated in Old Slavonic: 1708. Around the central design, separated by crosses, is a circular inscription: VSELѦ ROSII POVELITEL (Sovereign of All Russia).
Obverse The central part depicts Saint George the Victorious on horseback, slaying a dragon with a spear. Beneath the horseman are the letters 'MD', the mintmark for the Kadash Mint. A circular inscription runs along the edge: TSAR PETR ALEKSIEVICH (Tsar Peter Alexeevich).
