Reverse The central part features the denomination in two lines: KOPEIKA. Below it, the year of mintage is indicated in Old Slavonic: 1707. The central image is enclosed within a linear rim. Above the inscription is a rosette of dots. Around the circumference near the edge runs the text: VSEIA RVSSI SAMODERZHETS (Autocrat of All Russia).
Obverse The central part of the obverse depicts St. George the Victorious on horseback with a spear pointing to the lower right corner (no serpent). Beneath the rider are the mintmark letters 'BK' (Naberezhny Mint). The image is enclosed within a linear rim. Above the rider's head is a dot. Along the edge, from right to left, runs the text: TSAR I VELIKII KNIAZ PETR ALEKSIEVICH (Tsar and Grand Prince Peter Alexeevich).
