Obverse
The center is occupied by the monogram of Empress Catherine II, crowned. Below the monogram is the abbreviation 'K M' (Suzun Mint). At the edge, a laurel branch is on the left and a palm branch on the right. The branches are tied together at the base with a ribbon, the knot of which forms a bow.
