Around the circumference, inscriptions separated by two dots: at the top - 'LIBERATION OF EUROPE FROM FASCISM', at the bottom - 'PRAGUE 09.05.1945'. On the edge of the coin, two incused inscriptions 'THREE RUBLES', separated by two asterisks.

In the center, within a dotted circle, an image of the Spasskaya Tower of the Moscow Kremlin and the dome of the Senate Palace partially overlapping it with a waving flag; on the inner side of the dotted circle to the right, the mint mark 'MMD' (Moscow Mint).
