    The upper part of the coin features the imperial crown. Below it, in the center, the denomination numeral 2 is indicated. Below that is the name of the monetary unit, split into two lines: KOPѢЙ KI. Below the name is a straight line and the abbreviation 'K.M.' (Kolpino Mint). In the left part near the edge is a laurel branch, and in the right part, an oak branch. The bases of the branches are intertwined with a ribbon. Relief dots are stamped along the edge of the coin.
  • Obverse
    The center of the obverse is occupied by the lesser coat of arms of the Russian Empire – a double-headed eagle with wings spread. The eagle's heads bear crowns, and a third, larger crown is above and between the heads. On the eagle's breast is the coat of arms of Moscow – a shield depicting St. George the Victorious on horseback, slaying a serpent with a long spear (the serpent's head is to the right). Around the shield is the chain of the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle the First-Called. In its right talon, the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left, an orb. Under the right talon is the letter 'D', under the left – the letter 'B'. The initials of mintmaster Dmitry Bikhtov. Below the initials is the year of minting '1818.'. The rim is decorated with dots.
