    The central part features the denomination in two lines: ПОЛУШКА (POLUSHKA). Below the denomination, the year of mintage is indicated in Cyrillic: 1721. Above the denomination is the inscription: ВРП. The coin's edge is surrounded by a twisted dotted border.
  • Obverse
    The central part depicts the State Emblem of Russia - a double-headed eagle with wings spread. Its heads are crowned with two crowns, with a third, larger crown above them (imperial crowns). In its right talon, the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left, an orb. The rim externally resembles a massive twisted rope (the teeth are angled relative to the field).
