    In the central part of the reverse are relief images of three Soviet soldiers in battle against the backdrop of Vienna's architectural monuments. Around the circumference are inscriptions separated by two dots: at the top - 'LIBERATION OF EUROPE FROM FASCISM', at the bottom - 'VIENNA 13.04.1945'. On the edge of the coin are two incused inscriptions 'THREE RUBLES', separated by two asterisks.

    In the upper part along the rim arc is the denomination 'THREE RUBLES' and the year of issue '1995', below are the words 'BANK OF RUSSIA'. In the center, within a dotted circle, is an image of the Spasskaya Tower of the Moscow Kremlin and the dome of the Senate Palace partially overlapping it with a waving flag. Inside the dotted circle on the right is the mintmark 'LMD' (Leningrad Mint).
