In the central part, the numeral 10, slightly shifted upwards, denotes the coin's denomination; below it is the word 'RUBLEI' (rubles), and beneath that, the mint's monogram (LMD). At the bottom near the edge is the year of minting '1991'. To the left is an ear of wheat, to the right an oak branch.
Obverse
In the upper part of the coin is the text: GOSUDARSTVENNYI BANK (State Bank); below it is the issuing country • USSR •. In the center of the coin are the Spasskaya Tower of the Moscow Kremlin and the domes of the Senate Palace with a waving flag on top.
