The central part features the denomination — the numeral 2. Above the numeral is the imperial crown. Below the denomination numeral is a two-line inscription: KOPEYKI. Under the inscription is a straight line, and below it the mint mark K.M. In the left part of the coin along the edge is a laurel branch, and in the right part an oak branch. At the base, the branches are tied with a ribbon forming a neat bow. Raised dots are stamped around the entire edge of the coin.
  • Obverse
The center of the obverse is occupied by the lesser coat of arms of the Russian Empire — a double-headed eagle with wings spread. The eagle's heads bear crowns, and a third, larger crown is placed above and between the heads. On the eagle's breast is the coat of arms of Moscow — a shield depicting St. George the Victorious on horseback, slaying a serpent with a long spear (the serpent's head is to the right). Around the shield is the chain of the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle the First-Called. In its right talon the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left an orb. Under the right talon is the letter 'P', under the left talon the letter 'B'. These are the initials of mintmaster Petr Berezovsky. Below is the year of minting '1811.'. The rim is decorated with dots.
