Reverse

The reverse of the coin features an image of the Solar Deity from the Tamgaly Gorge against a background of a stylized stone slab. In the left sector of the coin, the inscription "Ag 925 24 gr." indicates the metal, its fineness, and weight; in the right sector is the mintmark of the Kazakhstan Mint. A raised wide rim runs along the coin's circumference, bearing the inscriptions " КӨК ТӘҢІРІ " " ТАМҒАЛЫТАС " in Kazakh and "THE SUN GOD" "THE TAMGALYTAS" in English.
