  • Reverse
    The upper part of the coin features the crown of the Russian Empire. The center is occupied by a four-line inscription: GOSUDAR= STVENNAYA ROSSIYSKAYA MONETA. Below the inscription is the abbreviation 'S.P.B.' (Saint Petersburg Mint). Along the left edge of the coin is a laurel branch, and along the right edge, an oak branch. The bases of the branches are tied together with a ribbon forming a bow. The rim is decorated with prominent denticles pointing inward.
  • Obverse
    The central part features five shields arranged in a cross shape. The central shield depicts the Coat of Arms of the Russian Empire — a double-headed eagle with scepter and orb. The top shield is the Moscow coat of arms, the bottom shield is the coat of arms of the Siberian Tsardom. The left shield is the coat of arms of the Astrakhan Tsardom, the right shield is the coat of arms of the Kazan Tsardom. The top shield is crowned with an imperial crown, the other three shields are crowned with tsarist crowns. Between the circular shields are four rosettes. In the upper part, along the edge, is the circular inscription 'DESYAT' RUBLEI' (TEN RUBLES), divided by the imperial crown. In the lower part is the year of minting '1802 GODA.' (1802 YEAR.), divided by a tsarist crown. The rim is decorated with denticles.
