Reverse The central part features the denomination in two lines: ДЕНГА. Below, the year of mintage is indicated in Old Slavonic: 1718. The surrounding inscription reads: ВСЕѦ РОСIИ ПОВЕЛIТЕЛЬ. The rim resembles twisted rope—the traditional beads are positioned at an angle to the ground.
Obverse The center of the obverse is occupied by the coat of arms of the Russian Empire—a double-headed eagle. Both heads of the eagle bear crowns, with a larger third crown between them. In its right talon, the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left, an orb. The surrounding inscription reads: ЦРЬ ПЕТРЬ АЛЕѯIЕВИЧЪ. The rim consists of beads.
