    In the central part of the reverse is a relief image of the Monument to David of Sasun. Below it, the text "YEREVAN" is struck. To the left of the pedestal is the date "1959", and below it a decorative vignette. At the top, along the outer rim of the coin, the inscription "MONUMENT TO DAVID OF SASUN" is arranged in a semicircle.
