Below the eagle is the year of mintage, '1821', bounded on both sides by two six-pointed stars. Around the eagle is the inscription: 50 ZŁOT• POLSK• 26 Z GRZ• CZ• KOL. The edge is decorated with dots.

In the upper part is a six-pointed star, visually marking the beginning of the inscription: ALEXANDER I CESARZ SA• W• ROS• KRÓL POLSKI (Translation: 'Alexander I, Emperor and Autocrat of All Russia, King of Poland'). The edge is decorated with dots.
