  • Obverse
In the center, the State Emblem of the Russian Empire is depicted — a double-headed eagle with raised, spread wings, its heads crowned with two coronets, a third, larger crown above them. On the eagle's breast is the coat of arms of Moscow — a shield with St. George the Victorious on horseback, slaying a serpent with a long spear (the serpent's head is to the right). Around the shield is the chain of the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle the First-Called. In its right talon, the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left, an orb. Around the eagle are 10 raised counting elements, executed as stars. The stars denote (duplicate) the coin's denomination.
