In the central part, there is an inscription—the word 'КОПЕЙКИ' (KOPECKS). Above the inscription—the numeral '2.'. Below the inscription—a decorative dash, and below it—the year of minting '1804.'. To the left and right of the monetary unit, two encircled dots (indicating the coin's denomination) are minted, each outlined by two circles. The dots are placed on a rim of five lines running along the edge.
  • Obverse
The center of the obverse is occupied by the lesser coat of arms of the Russian Empire—a double-headed eagle with wings spread. The eagle's heads bear crowns, and a third, larger crown is placed above and between the heads. On the eagle's breast is the coat of arms of Moscow—a shield depicting St. George the Victorious on horseback, slaying a serpent with a long spear (the serpent's head is to the right). Surrounding the shield is the chain of the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle. To the left and right of the heraldic eagle are the counting marks for two kopecks—two bordered dots placed on a rim of five lines running near the edge. In the right talon is a scepter, and below it the letter 'К'. In the left talon is an orb, and below it the letter 'М'. Together, the letters indicate the Suzun Mint.
