    In the central part of the reverse is a relief image of the Spasskaya Tower of the Moscow Kremlin. To the left, behind the Kremlin wall, are a palace and two towers: the Vodovzvodnaya and Borovitskaya towers; to the right are a palace and towers: the Troitskaya and Nikolskaya towers. In the lower part is the emblem of the 1980 Olympic Games, to the right the date '1978', indicating the year of minting. Around the circumference is the inscription 'GAMES OF THE XXII OLYMPIAD — MOSCOW — 1980'.
