Reverse In the central part of the reverse are relief images of a girl and a boy against a background of stars, stylized plant branches, and the sign of the Gemini zodiac constellation.
Obverse In the upper part along the rim arc is the coin's denomination 'TWENTY FIVE RUBLES'. Slightly below on the left is the metal's designation from Mendeleev's periodic table, Au, and the fineness 999. Below, in the center, is the mintage year '2005'. Below on the right are the weight of the precious metal in pure form '3.11' and the manufacturer's (mint) mark 'SPMD'. In the central part of the characteristic dotted rim is a double-headed eagle, and below it is stamped the name of the coin's issuer 'BANK OF RUSSIA'.
