Below the cartouche are two crossed palm branches tied with a ribbon (bow). Inside the cartouche is a three-line inscription indicating the denomination and mint year: ДЕНГА1731. Between the denomination and the year are two straight lines.
  • Obverse
The center of the obverse is occupied by a simplified version of the coat of arms of the Russian Empire – the traditional double-headed eagle, but executed without complex details. Both heads of the eagle wear crowns, and a larger third crown is positioned above between the heads. In its right talon, the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left, an orb.
