In the right sector of the disc on a mirror field — a bust portrait of architect A.D. Zakharov, below it a three-line inscription: «ANDREYAN DMITRIEVICH ZAKHAROV».

    In the upper part along the rim edge, the coin's denomination «TWENTY FIVE RUBLES» is inscribed in an arc. Slightly below on the left, the metal designation from Mendeleev's periodic table Ag and fineness 925 are indicated. Below in the center is the year of minting «2012».
