    On the left near the rim is the inscription 'Fahrenheit Scale' in German 'FAHRENHEIT-SKALE' and the engraver's mark 'VH' - Victor Benjamin Huster. In the central part are eight temperature scales in the order of their creation, below each of which along the rim is the year of creation, above - the graphical symbol of the scale: Newton - 1701 'N', Rømer – 1702 'Rø', Fahrenheit (in the form of a thermometer with numbers '32' – ice melting point and '0') 'F', Réaumur 1730 'Re', Delisle 1732 'D', Celsius 1742 'C', Kelvin 1842 'K', Rankine 1859 'Ra'. A straight line passes through the scales at the ice melting point mark and ends with a stylized depiction in the form of a wave and a snowflake. Along the arc of the right edge is the inscription '300 Years' in German '300 JAHRE'.

Below the national symbol is the inscription ten euro in English '10 EURO' and the silver fineness 'SILBER 625'. On the right is a circle of stars, above it is the mint year '2014', below it - the mintmark 'J' - the mark of the Hamburg Mint. The inscriptions are oriented vertically with the base to the right.
