    On the surface of the brilliant mirror field of the coin is a relief image of the monastery's churches and bell tower behind a fragment of a stone wall; below it is the horizontal text: STARITSA. At the top, along the rim, is a semicircular inscription: "HOLY DORMITION MONASTERY".
