    On the surface of the brilliant mirror field of the coin is a relief image of the monastery, surrounded by a wall with seven towers and a gate church; inside the enclosure is a tall five-domed cathedral, in front of it near a cluster of trees, on the left is a small church, on the right is a two-story building; inscriptions along the rim – at the top: 'IOSIFO-VOLOTSKY MONASTERY', at the bottom: 'TERYAEVO'.

    In the upper part along the arc of the rim is the denomination of the coin 'TWENTY FIVE RUBLES', slightly lower on the left is the designation of the metal from Mendeleev's periodic table Ag and the fineness 925, below in the center is the year of minting '2013', lower on the right is the weight of the precious metal in pure form '155.50' and the manufacturer's (mint) mark 'MMD'. In the central part of a characteristic dotted circle is a double-headed eagle, and below it is the name of the coin's issuer 'BANK OF RUSSIA'.
