In the central part of the coin's disc — three arched vaults of masonry building, resting on two columns; in the opening of the central vault — a relief image of the main facade of the A.S. Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts building in Moscow; in the opening of the right vault — two warrior figures from the Taman stele of the Bosporan Kingdom; in the opening of the left vault — a colored fragment of S. Botticelli's painting 'The Annunciation' (Archangel Gabriel); at the top near the rim, against a wall background — the text: 100 YEARS, below it — a palm branch; at the bottom on a matte segment, framed along the upper edge by a geometric ornament — a three-line inscription: 'THE A.S. PUSHKIN STATE MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS'.

In the upper part along the rim arc is the denomination of the coin 'TWENTY FIVE RUBLES'; slightly lower on the left is the metal designation from Mendeleev's periodic table Ag and the fineness 925; below in the center is the year of minting '2012'; lower on the right is the weight of the precious metal in pure form '155.50' and the manufacturer's (mint) designation 'SPMD'. In the central part of a characteristic dotted circle is a double-headed eagle, and below it is the name of the coin's issuer 'BANK OF RUSSIA'.
