    In the central part of the coin's disc, in the opening between two columns and fragments of the interiors of the Hermitage Theatre in St. Petersburg, on a section of the mirror field representing the water surface of the river, there is a relief image of G. Quarenghi holding a scroll of paper in his right hand and a model of the Assignation Bank building in St. Petersburg on his bent left arm. On the scroll is a four-line inscription: 'DZHACOMO KV ARENGI' and 'GIACOMO QUARENGHI', separated by a color image of an Ionic order capital; in the background is a relief image of the Hermitage Theatre on the embankment.

    In the upper part, along the rim arc, is the denomination of the coin 'TWENTY FIVE RUBLES'; slightly below on the left is the metal designation from Mendeleev's periodic table Ag and the fineness 925; below in the center is the year of minting '2012'; below on the right is the weight of the precious metal in pure form '155.50' and the manufacturer's (mint) designation 'SPMD'. In the central part of a characteristic dotted rim is a double-headed eagle, and below it is stamped the name of the coin's issuer 'BANK OF RUSSIA'.
