    In the central part of the reverse is a relief depiction of goalkeeper Alexei Khomich in the goal frame, leaping for the ball during one of the matches of the 'Dynamo' (Moscow) team against an English team during the 1945 tour of Great Britain. In the background are the Big Ben tower in London and the state flags of the USSR and Great Britain. Against the background of the goal net, in the upper left, is the outline of a tiger's head (during the tour, A. Khomich earned the nickname 'tiger' for his brilliant reflexes and agility); in the lower left is the letter 'D' in a diamond (the emblem of the 'Dynamo' sports society). The 'Dynamo' team won two games and drew two. At the bottom, around the circumference, are the inscriptions: 'Tour of Great Britain. 1945'. At the top, around the circumference, is the text: 100th Anniversary of Russian Football.

    In the upper part, along the rim arc, are the coin's denomination '1 ruble' and the year of minting '1997', below are the words 'BANK OF RUSSIA'. In the center, within a dotted circle, is a double-headed eagle. Below it, on the inside of the dotted circle, starting from the left, are the chemical symbol Ag and fineness 925, then to the right the manufacturer's (mint) designation 'LMD' and the chemically pure weight of the precious metal in grams '7.78'.
