    In the central part of the disc, against a matte area in the shape of a map of the Russian Federation, is a contour image of an open book with a matte depiction of the coat of arms of the Russian Federation on the left page and a three-line inscription: 'CONSTITUTION OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION' on the right; below the book is the upper part of a column with an Ionic order capital; along the rim is a circular inscription: 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE ADOPTION OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION, separated by two fragments of a floral ornament.
