    In the central part of the reverse is a relief image of the emblem of the Commonwealth of Independent States. Below is a hexagon framed by leaves; on its surface are latent images, visible alternately when the viewing angle is changed, of the number '10' and the word 'YEARS'. Around the circumference is the text: COMMONWEALTH OF INDEPENDENT STATES.

    In the upper part, along the rim arc, is the coin's denomination 'THREE RUBLES'. Slightly below on the left are the metal designation from Mendeleev's periodic table 'Ag' and the fineness '900'. Below, in the center, is the mintage year '2001'. Below on the right are the weight of the precious metal in pure form '31.10' and the manufacturer's (mint) mark 'SPMD'. In the central part of the characteristic dotted rim is a double-headed eagle, and below it is stamped the name of the coin's issuer 'BANK OF RUSSIA'.
