In the central part, an inscription in four lines: GOSUDAR=STVENNAYA ROSSIYSKAYA MONETA. Above the inscription is the Imperial Crown. Below the inscription is the designation of the Saint Petersburg Mint S.P.B. In the left part of the reverse, along the edge, is a laurel branch, and in the right part, an oak branch. At the base, the branches are tied with a ribbon, the knot of which forms a bow. Below the bow are the letters: A.I. The initials of mintmaster Alexander Ivanov. The rim is decorated with denticles.
Obverse
In the central part, arranged in the form of a cross, are five shields with coats of arms. The central shield is the image of the Coat of Arms of the Russian Empire — a double-headed eagle with a scepter and orb.
