Along the lower edge arc, from left to right, the tragedian's name and lifespan 'AIΣXYΛOΣ 524-455 BC', a stylized acanthus leaf – the mark of the Athens Mint, and the engraver's mark of Georges Stamatopoulos – 'ΣTAM'.
