The central shield depicts the Coat of Arms of the Russian Empire — a double-headed eagle with a scepter and orb. The top shield is the Moscow coat of arms, the bottom one is the coat of arms of the Siberian Tsardom. The left shield is the coat of arms of the Astrakhan Tsardom, the right one is the Kazan Tsardom. In the upper part, along the edge, is the circular inscription "PYAT RUBLEI" (Five Rubles), divided by the imperial crown. In the lower part is the year of mintage "1804 GODA." (1804 Year), divided by a tsarist crown. The rim is decorated with denticles.
