    In the central part of the reverse is a relief image of the aircraft-carrying cruiser 'Admiral Kuznetsov', to the right above it is a portrait of Admiral N.G. Kuznetsov, below it is a semicircular inscription: 'N.G. KUZNETSOV'. Around the circumference is the text: at the top on a ribbon – '300TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE RUSSIAN NAVY', at the bottom – 'AIRCRAFT-CARRYING CRUISER «ADMIRAL KUZNETSOV»'.
  • Obverse
    In the upper part along the rim arc is the coin's denomination '3 rubles' and the year of minting '1996', below are the words 'BANK OF RUSSIA'. In the center, within a dotted circle, is a double-headed eagle. Below it, on the inside of the dotted circle, on the left is the chemical symbol Ag and fineness 900, then to the right the manufacturer's mark (mint) 'MMD' and the chemically pure weight of the precious metal in grams 31.10.
