    In the central part of the reverse is a relief image of the first Russian ship of the line 'Poltava', on the left is the central portal of the Admiralty, on the right is a portrait of Peter I, below it a four-line inscription: 'MORSKIM SUDAM BYT PETR I' (Let there be sea vessels, Peter I), below that is a ship's plan. Around the circumference, text: at the top on a ribbon - '300-LETIE ROSSIYSKOGO FLOTA' (300th Anniversary of the Russian Navy), at the bottom - 'PERVYY LINEYNYY KORABL 1712 G.' (First Ship of the Line 1712).

    In the upper part along the rim arc is the coin's denomination '100 rubles' and the year of mintage '1996 g.', below are the words 'BANK ROSSII' (Bank of Russia). In the center, within a beaded circle, is a double-headed eagle; below it, on the inside of the beaded circle, on the left is the chemical symbol Ag and fineness 900, then to the right the manufacturer's (mint) mark 'MMD' and the pure weight of the precious metal in the coin '1000,0'.
