    In the central part of the reverse is a relief image of the Mardjani Mosque in Kazan, above it the text: KAZAN and the year 'XVIII cent.'. At the top along the rim is the text: MOSQUE 'MARDJANI'.

    In the upper part along the rim arc is the coin's denomination 'THREE RUBLES', slightly lower on the left is the metal designation from Mendeleev's periodic table Ag and fineness 900, below in the center is the mintage year '1999', lower on the right is the weight of pure precious metal 31.10 and the manufacturer's (mint) mark 'MMD'. In the central part of the characteristic dotted rim is a double-headed eagle, and below it is stamped the name of the coin's issuer 'BANK OF RUSSIA'.
